You know, that YSL ENVELOPE BAG, they call it, the one from that fancy Yves Saint Laurent, or somethin’ like that. I seen it on the big shop window, you know? And them fancy girls carryin’ it around. It’s a pretty little thing, I gotta say. They got it in the official flagship store, all shiny and new. They say it’s 20% off, I heard them girls talkin’ ’bout it. Twenty percent! That’s a lot, ain’t it? Still costs a pretty penny, I reckon.
They got all kinds of ’em, big ones, small ones. The small one, they call it Saint Laurent Small YSL Envelope somethin’. Costs, like, two dollars? No, no, much more than that. Two thousand! Can you believe it? What’s a body gonna do with a bag that costs that much? Keep your life savings in it? Ha!
They make ’em in Italy, I heard. Fancy place, Italy. This bag, it’s made outta that leather stuff. But not just any leather. This one’s all bumpy and has lines all over it. Three different kinds of bumpy, they say. Don’t know why they’d do that, but it does look kinda nice. Got this little flap that folds over, like an envelope, that’s why they call it that, I guess. They got this Saint Laurent Large YSL Envelope Pouch Clutch Bag, too. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Just another one of them leather bags.
Now, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout buyin’ these bags. Some girl was lookin’ for a new, what was it, a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or Ram? Don’t know what them things is. But they got ’em in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I don’t know where that is exactly, but far, far away, that’s for sure. They say this is the right place to look for them. I don’t need none of that, just need a good, strong bag to carry my things.

They got these fancy shops, like, Neiman Marcus, or somethin’. They sell them Saint Laurent YSL bags there, too. All kinds of fancy clothes and shiny things. And this other place, Pitre Buick GMC, in Albuquerque. They sell cars there, new and used. Big, fancy cars, I bet. They say they got a lot of them in the stock. Or inventory, they call it. I don’t know what that means. Stock. Inventory. Just sounds like a lot of stuff to me.
And then there’s this, what’s it called, Zillow? They got houses on there. Lots and lots of houses. In Albuquerque, too. Big houses, small houses. All kinds of houses. Over a thousand, they say. Thirteen hundred and thirty-one, to be exact. Imagine that! So many houses! I seen pictures of them on their website. People buyin’ and sellin’ houses all the time.
But this YSL ENVELOPE BAG, it’s somethin’ else. They got a whole bunch of ’em on the SAINT LAURENT Official Website. They call it the “Women’s Envelope Handbags Collection.” Sounds real fancy, don’t it? All them bags lined up, just waitin’ for someone to buy ’em. And they say you can get ’em online. Order ’em right from your house, I guess. Don’t know how that works, but that’s what they say.
This Brand: Saint Laurent, it’s a big deal, I guess. People sure do like their stuff. Saint Laurent Paris, they call it, too. I seen it on the tags. Don’t know what that means, but it’s somethin’ fancy, that’s for sure. I just know that YSL ENVELOPE BAG is a pretty thing. Maybe too pretty for an old gal like me. But a body can dream, can’t she? A body can dream.
I don’t know much about these things. I just see these young girls carryin’ them YSL ENVELOPE BAG around, and they look so happy. They say it’s from the official flagship store, so it must be good. And they always talk about how it’s real leather, and how it’s made in Italy. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I guess if you got the money, it’s a nice thing to have. But me, I’m just happy with my old bag. It holds everything I need, and that’s all that matters.
