This here is about that High imitation Rolex Two-tone Blue Submariner, you know, the price and all that. That there watch, it ain’t cheap, no sir. They say it’s a “Bluesy.” Sounds kinda fancy, don’t it?
They say this here Rolex, it’s some kinda rare bird. Not many of ’em around, I reckon. And when somethin’s rare, it costs ya an arm and a leg. People pay good money for these things. If you want the real deal, you are gonna have to fork over a lot of cash.
Now, this here watch, it’s got some gold on it, but not a whole lot. Just a little bit here and there. Middle links I think they call it, and the crown, whatever that is, and the bezel. That’s the spiny thing around the watch face. Don’t need much to make it pricey, I guess. But mostly, it’s just ’cause folks want it so bad. They want what they can’t have.
They got these other numbers too, like 5517 and 5513. Some kinda special ones, they say. “Double reference,” they call it. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but them rich folks, they eat it up. They want them “collectible” things. And that means expensive, very expensive.

They got these places, ADs they call ’em. You go there, and they show you all these fancy watches. And you pick one out, if you got the money. That’s a lot of money for a watch if you ask me. But some folks, they like to show off, I guess. Wearin’ somethin’ expensive like that, it makes ’em feel important.
This one watch, they call it the 126610LN. The icon itself. They say it’s special. But to me, they all look about the same. Just a watch. Tells the time, that’s all. But some folks, they get all worked up about these things.
Now, this other one, the 126613LN, they say it’s good for every day. You can wear it all the time, they say. It can take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’. That’s good, I reckon. If you’re gonna spend that much money on a watch, it better last.
If you are out there lookin’ for somethin’ different, somethin’ not everyone else has, maybe this here Rolex is for you. But me, I’d rather have somethin’ a little more practical. A good pair of boots, maybe. Or a new plow for the field. Or maybe a nice fat hog to feed the family. Somethin’ useful, you know?
They got all kind of these Rolex Submariner watches, a whole bunch of ’em. Different colors, different numbers, all kinds of stuff. It’s enough to make your head spin. And the prices, well, they’re all over the place. You can find ’em online, I hear. Some places, they got ’em cheaper, I guess. But you gotta be careful. Lots of folks out there tryin’ to sell you a fake. Gotta make sure you’re gettin’ the real deal.
I don’t know about you but spending that kind of money on a watch. Just ain’t right in my book.
