Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to share this for a while now. I recently took on this project, a real doozy, to remake a Patek Philippe Gondolo 7041R-001. Yeah, the rose gold one with the diamonds. That watch is just something else, you know? I mean, the craftsmanship, the look, it’s pure art.
First off, I started by gathering everything I could about this watch. I spent hours, maybe even days, just staring at pictures, reading descriptions, anything I could find. Crafting the Case

It was tiring but seeing it start to resemble the real deal, that was something else.

It felt like everything was coming together and I was super proud of myself, not gonna lie.
The dial was the next challenge. I wanted it to look authentic, with that classic, clean Patek Philippe style. I made sure every marker, every detail, was spot on. It was like being a painter, but with tiny watch parts. When I finally put it all together, it felt like a huge accomplishment. It looked great, at least to me.
Finally, the strap. I chose a nice, high-quality leather, just like the original. Attaching it to the case, I felt like I was completing a masterpiece. It was the last piece of the puzzle. I stepped back and looked at the finished watch. It was a lot of work, and yeah, it’s not perfect, but it’s mine. I made it. And it’s pretty darn close to the real Gondolo 7041R-001. It felt good, real good. It’s not just a watch, it’s a story of patience, effort, and a bit of an obsession, maybe. But hey, that’s what makes it special, right?
